Amber sent pictures of her children to her parents almost every week. She used e-mail to send the pictures so it was very cheap. But just because she used e-mail didn’t mean she disliked tradition. She still wrote letters and sent them through the mail once a month. And her parents sent letters back. They never sent money in the letters, even though Amber needed money, because it is risky. When Amber’s oldest daughter was twelve, Amber sent her to her parent’s house once a week. Amber lived in the same city as her parents. I find it amazing that she sent them letters even when she lived in the same city. Amber just values tradition.
