Sven was not a stupid man, but he also never showed his intelligence when he spoke. When he was a boy, if you spoke too intelligently, you got beat up. His friends even beat up someone just because they thought he looked too smart. On the other hand, they also prided what they called ‘real’ intelligence: math skills. And Sven was the best. He once beat another boy using a calculator in a math contest. But he could never beat out a computer. Those were just too fast for him. One of Sven’s other hidden talents was his cooking ability. He could cook anything from basic ingredients, but his pancakes were the best. He said it was because he could beat egg whites so well. He even won a cooking competition in his church once. Sven might not sound too smart, but inside he is actually very clever and has many skills.
