A fire burned in the northwest area. The fire burned strong because it was so dry this year. When there was little rain and the wind was strong, the fires burned with an amazing intensity. They also burned fast, and moved fast. That made them very dangerous. This year the fire was the worst in twenty years. It burned everything in its path. Many people had to leave their homes. The did not know when they could go back, but they all got back home within a week of leaving. It is over now.
