Doug’s flown as a hobby since he was a teenager. He’s flown gliders because it is challenging and also clean. He’s flown in all kinds of weather, even though his friends thought it was dangerous. He liked to fly out of the same airport all the time so that he could learn the weather patterns and predict them better. Even now, he is flying back from a long flight over the mountains.
