Joe is a very sentimental guy. He needs to buy a new bed, but he feels attached to his old bed. After all, he thinks, he’s laid on the same bed for more than fifteen years. He’s laid on it in thunderstorms. He’s laid on it after great parties. He’s laid on it when he was exhausted from work. He doesn’t want to get a new bed but he has to. You see, his bed has broken and the springs are starting to come out. It’s time for Joe to buy a new bed.
