Amber’s sent pictures of her children to her parents almost every week. She’s used e-mail to send the pictures so it is very cheap. But just because she uses e-mail doesn’t mean she dislikes tradition. She’s still written letters and sent them through the mail once a month. And her parents have sent letters back. They’ve never sent money in the letters, even though Amber has needed the money, because it is risky. Amber’s oldest daughter is twelve and Amber has sent her to her parent’s house once a week. Amber has lived in the same city as her parents since she moved away from home. I find it amazing that she sends them letters even when she lives in the same city. Amber just values tradition.
