Grammar: Dig

Lisa and Edward love playing in the sand together. They are both four years old and they play with cars in the sandbox on Sunday. Lisa digs tunnels, and Edward digs up sand to make buildings with.

They dig for hours in the afternoon and never get tired. Lisa digs through the sand very carefully so the tunnel does not collapse. Edward digs into the corner of the sandbox where the sand is moist.

This is better for building with, he thinks. Their mothers take pictures of them playing in the sandbox to show them how much they like digging.
