Alex has kept his house clean. Perhaps, he's kept it cleaner than most of his friends. He's done the laundry three times a week since he moved into his own house. And he's done the dishes right after the meal, without exception since he was a boy. He's even done the vacuuming right after he gets home from work, now that he has organized his time.
He hasn't thought it was too much. He's liked his house clean and it's helped him relax. His friends worried about it at first, but they haven't thought the same as he has.
They haven't worried about a bit of dirt and they haven't minded a few dirty dishes in the sink. Alex and his friends have been different from each other, but they haven't thought this was very important; they are good friends.
