The children at New Springs Elementary School grow every year. Of course, children in any elementary school grow. But these children are a little different. They are growing up in the countryside away from their parents.
Their parents feel the children grow faster when they live away from home. The children grow more independent, and resourceful. That's why their parents send them to this school.
Also, there are few luxuries on the campus, and no TV's, so the children grow accustomed to studying and making their own games. One researcher is studying if there are differences to their growing patterns compared to children in the city. It will be interesting to find out.
