Episode Notes

Hey, good morning.

Morning, sir.

I'm great. How you doing?

I'm doing awesome. I'm I'm I'm psyched for the day.

Good. Me, too.

Hey, you're supposed to say what's up.

Oh, sorry. What's up? What are you up to today?

Okay. Um, I'm going crazy with AI.

Crazy. Okay.

I'm going crazy with AI. I' I'm starting to use AI for as a a regular a daily tool for making more content.

Now, before you get the wrong idea,

all my content comes out of here.

Yeah.

Okay. I use AI for ideas and I use AI to process the content, make it a little bit better, and then I go back and I make it better again. So, it's a sort of it's like working with another person.

It's a little back and forth with AI as your coworker.

That's right. That's right. It's like having an assistant. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Sounds good.

What do they say? Uh AI. What does AI stand for?

Artificial intelligence.

Okay. I I'm going to say that to assisting intelligence.

Assistant. Nice. I like it. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. So, I found one that's really cool. I sent you an email.

Yes.

With a link in it.

No, you didn't.

Last last night.

Uh Yeah, I did about five minutes ago.

No, you didn't.

And maybe I didn't. I'll

You sent me an email. It didn't have a link. it though.

It didn't.

No. Try again.

Good. I'll I'll do that because the link is to a podcast that I made by myself.

Properly speaking, I and AI made it. It's not my voice.

So, you're replacing me with AI. I see what you're doing here. That's fine.

That's my dear John letter.

So, when when you say you're using AI, you mean for text, for audio, for video? What are you using AI to make? Okay. I'm using AI to to um research topics.

Okay.

Okay. So, I I I know stuff, but maybe I'm missing something. I'm looking for gaps in my knowledge. Make sure that I don't miss anything. Number two, I use AI to make outlines for myself. My outlines are a bit messy. I'm I'm not good at organizing.

Then, I read through the outline and I I talk into Gmail to make a blog post

instead of typing,

right? I I get the Gmail. I can speak into here.

Yeah. Yeah. Like auto auto dictation.

Yeah.

Yeah.

Send the email to myself, take it out, and I plug it into AI and I say, "Rewrite this. Make it better."

Clean it up.

Clean it up. It comes out much better structure, much better organization, but there's some AI stuff here and there.

I go I read through it. I edit it. At that point, it's probably pretty good. Wow.

And I and and then I can use the same blog thing to write uh I haven't made one yet, but to write a YouTube uh video outline script,

right? So using the

I can make

writing writing AI software to create uh scripts and then using that to create videos or or some such thing.

Yeah. Blog and then the script for the video. Right.

Very good.

It's and now Now, last night I my student told me about another AI. It's free. It's with Google

called Notebook LM.

Notebook LM. All right.

So, you go to the Notebook LM and you find all the sites on a topic that you're interested in. Let's say you want to do workouts at the gym. So, you do a Google search workout and you put in the links to those sites. Okay? It then reads all those sites for you, gives you a synopsis, okay? A little short version. version so you can read it and get the ideas. And then it says, "Do you want me to make a podcast for you?"

And the podcast is two people talking about that topic

right

based on those sites and they're like talking to you like they're saying, "Hey, I understand you want to learn about doing workouts." And then the woman comes in, "Yeah, workouts are really popular these days." Blah blah blah blah blah.

It's amazing.

Yeah. Sounds like it could be very useful for many things including scripts for curriculum

if we were doing such a thing. So yeah. Anyway, well send me that link again that you didn't send me in the email you just sent me that didn't have the link and I'll check it out.

Okay, good. Good. We'll do that. Okay, I got to get going.

Awesome, sir.

Thanks a lot. Bye-bye.
