"Buddhism. Are you a Buddhist? Do you know much about Buddhism? Well, I'm not a Buddhist and I don't really know much about Buddhism, but I know a bit and it's quite interesting. Um, I've heard of Buddhists who don't know very much about Buddhism. That's sort of like Christians who don't know much much about Christianity. And there are certainly many people like that anyway. Buddhism started a long, long, long time ago and it started in India. Now, I was really, really interested to find out that it started in India and then moved out of India and now it's really not very common there. Kind of the birthplace of Buddha. Buddhism doesn't really have a lot of Buddhists in it. A little bit strange if you ask me, but these things move and now I live in Japan and there's a lot of people who call themselves Buddhists, but they don't seem to know much about Buddhism. What is there to know about it? Actually, I don't know much, like I said before, but I heard that there's eight proper ways. Now, I don't know what the eight proper ways are or shall we say if I see them. I remember, but I can't remember right now. But they have things to do with the right way of looking and the right way of speaking and the right way of thinking. And if you do all these right things, then they say that you can become enlightened and become like the Buddha itself. And that's one of the cool things about Buddhism is that they hold the idea of reincarnation. If you're, if you can't purify yourself completely in this life, then after you die, you're gonna come back to this world as another being, whether it be an animal or a person or something. And if you can purify your life, then you become enlightened and you become the Buddha and you stop the cycle of life, death and rebirth, which is really, really cool. I don't know how many Buddhists really believe in that, but let's say everybody has their own take on these things. So, are you Buddhist? And do you know much about Buddhism?"
