Global warming.

Global warming is happening today.

Although there are many people who still deny it,

it's fairly obvious to me because the glaciers are actually getting smaller

and we have lots of evidence of that, the sea levels are actually going up and climate is changing.

We're starting to see records being set around the world in different places

and very unusual weather patterns because the weather is changing because the world is getting warmer.

Why is the world getting warmer? Well I think most people have a good idea.

It's because of the gasses, greenhouse gasses.

A lot of these gasses occur naturally but we've been adding to those gasses.

The big one is C.

02 and that's caused by all sorts of things.

But I think the big ones are industry and cars and airplanes.

We're adding so much co two that it's making the world a hot place.

A lot of people are worried about this while some people deny it, many people are also quite worried about it.

Of course I'm worried it's bringing some bad things.

But part of me is also hopeful.

I think that the greenhouse effect and global warming is going to make the world a better place.

In the long run.

In the short run it's going to be painful for all of us.

We really mucked up here but I think that this is going to give humans a chance to pause reflect

and change our ways will bring in better technologies and better lifestyles

that are more in tune with a long vision of living in harmony with the earth.

It sounds pretty hokey, pokey and maybe hopeful.

But on the other hand, I'd rather hope than feel despair.

How about you? What do you think about global warming these days?
