Gun incidents today.
I'm going to talk about gun incidents and I'm going to sort of talk about the violent gun incidents,
not the accidents that nobody wanted to happen, but the ones where the shot was made on purpose.
You see recently, I've been reading more
and more about mass shootings in the news and I'm a little bit concerned about it.
But I decided to do a little research.
I discovered that the victims of gun violent gun incidents.
Well, if we look at all the victims of very small percent are in the mass shootings,
most of them are outside of the mass shootings.
I guess that means one time shots where somebody is shooting another person not shooting a whole bunch.
Now, I kept on doing my research and I found out most countries have very strict gun laws.
So if you're thinking about traveling abroad, you're probably safe.
Most of the countries you want to go to, don't have people running around with guns.
And there's a small number of countries that do have people running around with guns.
And uh, then I went a little further
and I found out most people who are shot by a gun while they know the person who shot them.
That means if you go visiting another country, probably you don't know many people there.
So probably you won't be shot.
You're pretty safe as a tourist.
And that goes for living at home too.
If you don't know anybody with guns, then you probably won't be shot.
So I think most of us are pretty safe.
Um on the other hand, if you have a gun yourself, or if you do know somebody with guns, well,
you better make sure that thing is safe and not readily available because guns are dangerous.
I don't think I need to make that very much clearer.
I hope that the number of gun deaths goes down, and I hope that the mass shootings goes down as well.
Let's see what happens over the next couple of years."
