The power of music.
Do you listen to music? I do.
Well, no, I don't listen to a lot of music, but music is extremely powerful.
Music has the power to change our emotions to make us feel good, to make us feel happy or sad, to make us feel excited, to make us feel scared and maybe suspenseful.
I remember when I was young, I used to drive to the mountains and I'd get in the car and turn on my favorite music.
After a few years of doing that, I found I didn't like the music anymore.
Well, that's not quite true.
I love the music and I love the emotions I was feeling.
But after two or three hours of driving, I was simply too tired.
So I stopped listening to the music because it really swayed my emotions.
Music is extremely powerful.
Do you use music for various purposes at home? For instance, maybe you want to relax at the end of the day and you want music to help you relax or you want to do a physical workout, do some exercise.
So you turn on some high energy music to get the beat going or maybe you want to set the mood for an interesting conversation with somebody.
Special music is very, very powerful and can change our emotions and our feelings.
Be careful when you choose your music because of the feelings that music evokes in us.
Music can be used for therapy as well.
And I've been to dentists offices where they used relaxing music to help the dental patients relax in the chairs.
It sure worked for me.
How about your favorite music? What kind of feeling does it make in you?
